Sugarland Comes to the Sprint Center June 18
Chart topping country duo Sugarland will be performing all across the US this summer with a couple of shows in Canada for the summer leg of their “Incredible Machine Tour”. The tour started in late April and with the updated itinerary, it will now conclude in mid-October.
Sugarland fans in Kansas City can see their favorite country duo perform live at the Sprint Center on June 18, Friday at 7:30 PM. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster on March 6, Saturday at 10 AM CST. Presale events are being held by the duo’s fan club on March 1, Monday at 10 AM CST and also by AEG, radio and the Sprint Center presale on March 5, Friday at 10 AM CST.
Tickets are priced at $22, $39.50 and $49.50.
In a recent interview with Live Daily, Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles said that this tour will feature live performances of new material that will be part of their upcoming release, as well as new renditions of their past hits, and a set design and production that their fans “have come to trust and expect” from their live performances.
Sugarland’s as-of-yet untitled fourth record is planned to be released in the summer. They have released two records in the last two years – their third studio album in 2008 “Love on the Inside”, and their first Christmas album in 2009 “Gold and Green” – both of which have made their marks in various Billboard album charts.

Venerable country star George Strait and spunky Reba McEntire continue to chip away at their 18-city tour of the US, and have their collective sights set on Kansas City. Phoenix, the band seemingly made famous overnight off a Cadillac commercial, has set its sights on Kansas City’s Uptown Theatre. The group of French rockers will be hitting Uptown on Wednesday, April 21 at 8pm. Two Door Cinema Club will be providing opening support for Phoenix. Phoenix is touring on their May 2009 release “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” that has spawned the hit single “1901.” The band took home the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album at the awards show last month.
