Daughtry Rocks the Sprint Center on May 25
American Idol rocker Chris Daughtry will be bringing his band to Kansas City to play the Sprint Center on Tuesday, May 25 at 7:30 pm. The stop is a part of 50-city national tour in support of their latest release “Leave This Town.” Lifehouse and Cavo will serve as opening supporting acts.
Tickets will go onsale through Ticketmaster to the general public on Saturday, February 6 at 10am. There will be two presales on Tuesday, February 2 at 10am for members of the Daughtry Fan Club as well as an AEG\Venue\Ticketmaster presale Friday, February 5 at 10 am. Late night funny woman Chelsea Handler will be taking her shtick on the road in 2010 hitting 21 cities in support of her third book “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang.” While in Kansas City, she will be playing the Starlight Theatre on Friday, May 7 at 8:30 pm. For those who aren’t aware of E! Television’s premiere front woman, Chelsea has an adult, edgy brand of humor that takes aim squarely on celebrity antics and screw-ups.
70s singer-songwriter icons James Taylor and Carole King are joining forces for a world tour in 2010, and they are parking their tour in Kansas City at the Sprint Center on May 21. The collaboration brings the pair together who both got their start at the Troubadour in Los Angeles in the early 70s. Tim McGraw is tackling an ambitious 58-city tour which will consume much of 2010 and he has marked Sunday, June 27 at 7:30pm as his night to play the Sprint Center in Kansas City. He has signed on the latest country sensation Lady Antebellum to provide opening support for the tour. McGraw will be touring in support of his latest album “Southern Voice” which has spawned two singles to date (“It’s a Business Doing Pleasure with You” and “Southern Voice”).
