Despite having a personal life that is often splashed on the papers like major news, John Mayer has never tarnished his reputation of being a critically acclaimed musician, a chart topper and a sold-out concert performer.

Mayer is prepping up to tackle a spring tour all across North America to promote his new and fourth album entitled “Battle Studies”. See him perform live as he graces the stage of the Sprint Center in Kansas City on March 22, 2010, Monday at 8 PM as part of his summer tour. Spearhead and Michael Franti will be joining Mayer as opening acts for all of his shows for the tour, including the said show at the Sprint Center.

Tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster on November 21, Saturday at 10 AM. Two presale events will be held – one by Mayer’s official website on November 14, Saturday at 10 AM and another, exclusive for AMEX cardholders on November 16, Monday at 10 AM. Tickets are priced from $36 to $66.

“Battle Studies” is scheduled to hit the shelves on November 17. So much hype has surrounded not only the album’s release date, but the material itself. Rumors had it that most of the songs in “Studies” are largely influenced by Mayer’s personal relationships, particularly the shaky one that he shared with A-list actress Jennifer Aniston.
